I made some leaf/grass brushes today for a work illustration, just thought I’d throw them out here since I’m unlikely to reuse them. They’re mostly for adding definition once you have the general shapes down. —-> Download here (for CS3+)
Feel free to use/alter, no credit necessary.

I’m too lazy to tag all the characters. It’s kind of a re-upload anyways. Although i made some tiny changes. (If you can guess which without looking it up, you’re are really crazy and i love you.) °V°

Mostly for the Anon who pointed out that i saved Matt’s portrait in the wrong resolution. Also a little for myself. Bc i’m proud that i actually finished a series and i wanted to see what it looks like in a single post.

I spent the day installing photoshop CS6 and trying it out with some SNK doodles, the new UI is beautiful.

GOOD GUY ADOBE releases the ENTIRE CS2 SUITE. FOR FREE.

Signal boost for any of my followers who need art programs!
The cs2 programs date back only a few years, and still have much of the functionality of today’s more modern ones. The differences between most of the versions are little more than slight modifications or additions of minor features, and UI changes. Go for it guys!!
Also, in case the page is down, here are the download links + serials.

Hi Finni!~ I really love your art, ;u; I was wondering what brushes you use for your pieces? Specifically your more painterly ones? Sorry to ask I just watch from your livestreams and I can never really yell xD

First of all, thank you ;w;!! I’ve gotten quite a few requests now for what kinds of brushes I use, and the answer is that I just tinker around with some of the default brushes that Photoshop comes with until I get a look and feel that I like! That said:
A brushset download of the five textured brushes I’ve been using most often lately! I almost never use these brushes as is though, since I will tinker with the settings (under Window > Brushes) to suit the scale and way I’m working. Either way I’d encourage everyone to try to make their own brushes that suits their drawing style the most, and constantly experiment even if you have a workflow that you’re comfortable with. Also don’t forget the simpler brushes like square or triangular brushes too!
(Sorry for the repost; answering the ask was really messing up my layout “oTL)

I’ve been busy putting this together for the past few weeks and finally can start taking preorders!! As a promotion, I’d like to give away a copy of the book + all the extras for one lucky follower~

GIVEAWAY RULES!

  1. Must be 18 years or older; sorry!
  2. Reblog this post between July 2nd - July 15th, 2013, 9pm PST.
  3. Enter your name and the URL of your post reblog into this Google form, along with your email address so I can contact you in case tumblr starts eating asks again (which is likely…)
  4. International entries are OK!

I will be randomly drawing a winner on July 15th, 2013 on livestream so there will be no cheating involved. This giveaway is not endorsed or sponsored by Tumblr in any way, shape, or form.

And yes, these books will be available at Anime Expo! If you want to reserve a copy, feel free to order online and select “PICKUP (Anime Expo)” and I will have a copy (with the keychain exclusive) reserved for you. Thanks so much for looking!
